Davis Library
The Mary L. Stephens-Davis Branch Library remodel focused on improving the level of library service and functionality for its community and staff while creating an aesthetically pleasing environment. The central lobby is organized around the improved main circulation desk that sits between the main and the children’s library spaces. New and improved spaces were designed for increased collections and special collections, locations for dispersed computers, reading areas, children’s reading area, teen center, interior cyber garden space, and a “Friends of the Library” bookshop. The interior design provides a distinction for each of the associated program spaces while maximizing the open floor plan and maintaining clear lines of sight and supervision.
